Day 3: What could you do to lesson your environmental impact on our watershed?

What could you do to lessen your environmental impact on our watershed? Well I could make my car green and try not to use so much oil like get a blanket and not turn the heat because when you have to fill the tank you always spill some oil. Also I could clean up litter in a public place and try not to litter because of all the effects it can have for our water system.
Anthony R. One main way is to keep your car in a good state so it doesn't leak oil into the rivers. Also, if you want to use fertilizers, try to use ones that don't have dangerous chemicals in them. You might even make a little "dam" around it with rocks and tight-packed mud to keep it from flowing off.
We could do many things to lessen my environmental impact on our watershed. First I agree with Anthony by when he says to keep your car in a "good state". If your car is leaking out too much oil on a parking lot, when it rains all that oil will be washed away into the rivers which would be polluting it. Then another thing we could do is be careful about our soil and manure choices we use while farming or gardening. Finally we could pick up our animals droppings that were left on the ground when you take them for a walk. This is what I think we could do to lessen our environmental impact on our watershed.
i think that i could lesson the way in are local watershed is to tell construction workers to keep the area clean and not throw there stuff in the drains.I could make sure that my parents car is free from oil leasks.I also will lessen the impact by not litering.
Well we could use less oil like we should get cars that run on vegetable oil and then we could use less of the oil that we use now and that would get them to notice what the people need to do to save the enhviroment and stuff like that.Well we could also not use the flights as much because the airlines use way to much fuel.
What I could do to lesson the impact on my water shed is I could recycle like carpool and make sure your car isn't leaking and if it is wash it up and don't use a lot of paper ect. Also when people go on there boat check for milphoal.
Something I could do to lessen my environmental impact on your watershed is that i could not drive as much and try to use the wood stove as much as possible and stop using the heater.
I would stop taking longer showers like leigha said and then i would not ask my parents as much to bring me places so often so they can not use so much gas

Limit our boat use. Maybe use our row boat instead of our motor boats that way less oil and gas would be leaked into the waters of Maine.

i agree with britny and anthoney and i would recicul more.
I could start to take faster showers and instead of th=urning the heat up 2 much just get a blanket or put on more layers of clothes
