Well first of all there only food pretty much down there is sea snow. Also we learned that sea snow is not snow it is organic organisms that are decaying that fall down from the surface water. Also that there only light source is from them selves and the bacteria that they have on them because it lights up. Also they cannot get energy from the sun because you get no sunlight at all in the deep ocean even in the day. By Nicole Sumner

I think that the sea snow is interesting and how it can take up to 2 months to go to the total bottom. Also, how they can survive mostly by being carnivores, seeing how they have no plants there, and it can be >1 month before they eat! I also think that the predatory adaptations of some animals are very interesting.

That marine snow is dead particles and that sea spiders eat it. Also it takes months for the marine snow to get to the bottom of the Deep sea. Also as Nicole said Marine snow is not a organic organism. Finally 3 harsh environmental conditions facing animals living on the ocean floor is the food is Scarce, pressure and temperature.

i learned that there are alot of animals in the deep ocean. there food is called sea snow that dead organisms falling to the bottom of the ocean. in the deep sea there is no sun light at all, so it would be hard to see down there.

Three most interesting things I learned about from the Deep Sea Floor habitat is first the many neat and exciting animals that live down there. Some animals are: sea spiders, vampire octopus, sail fishes, and many others. I personally thought that the vampire octopus's glow from the bacteria was interesting because it would glow to confuse its prey and kind of lure them in. Then I learned that sea snow is detritus or decaying dead organisms which is the animals main source of food. Finally I learned that food is very scarce as Rachel said, and it may take months for food to arrive at the bottom of the sea. Another harsh condition is the pressure and temperature. These are three conditions that would make it difficult to live on the Deep Sea Floor.

Well i agree with Nicole Sumner. I think the 3 most interesting things i learns are that they really only eat sea now, and seamsnow it is organic organisms that are decaying that fall down from the surface water, and last it that the only way they get light is from them self.

I learned that there are sharks and ells that live in the deep sea, and some harsh environments are that theres little light in some places, and also theres not that much sea snow for them to eat.

A couple thing that i found interesting was that some animals eat the marine snow and also that it takes about to months for the marine snow to get down there. Also i thought that it was very interesting that some animals will stay still on the ocean floor and not move until they get the perfect meal.

You have to keep it clean so the animals can live longer. Theirs allot of different animals in the deep ocean.
